Sunday with Daddy

I had the privilege of leading a worship team for a Women in Leadership Conference this weekend. The boys were thrilled that they got plenty of "daddy time." The Computer even told me about how much he couldn't wait to spend at least 2 whole days and 2 nights having fun with daddy. He quickly followed that up with, "We have fun with you too, Mom. It's just a different kind of fun." What a sweetie. :)

On Saturday, (a really, really hot day) they loaded up in our beloved Jeep and drove her up to a friend's house. Dan told them of a great spot to go hang out in and they could play in the river. Since it was already getting late, they decided to head to the river on Sunday. (another really, really hot day)

It looks like it was a gorgeous place to explore. The boys had a great time enjoying their picnic lunch complete with circle tortilla chips, which the boys picked out because "Mom only lets us have strips." I never knew they had their little hearts set on circle tortillas. Then The Computer helped his brothers ford The River. What a sweet guy.

The excitement for the day...our pansy puppy. Urlacher spooks easily, especially in a new situation. Apparently, he heard a 4 wheeler riding around and took off at break neck speed. Who knows where he though he was going. A half mile later, the 4 wheeler was able to wrangle him for The Man. Whew, mommy would not have been a happy camper to come home from a weekend away only to find her sweet puppy missing.
