The Computer - Started working on decimals for math. He's quite the mathy kind of child so it's rather easy to introduce new concepts to him. He just seems to get how numbers work. He's having a bit of trouble with sentence diagramming though so we're going to slow that down and really focus on the parts of speech for a bit.
The Librarian - He is still loving reading! I'm constantly amazed at his ever expanding vocabulary and his ease of reading. He announced to the library that his favorite author of all time is Jules Verne. Proud mommy moment for that one.
Fearless Flyer - He has decided that he can't wait to start reading so plugging away.
Monday and Tuesday were pretty basic days in our household...a balance of me teaching lessons and teaching children.
Wednesday, oh Wednesday, that was a day that left us all exhausted. We started the morning at the Orthodontist so that The Computer could get some spacers put in. Then up and over the hills we went to attend a Kindmusic Concert put on by the Symphony. I decided to treat the boys to lunch at Godfather's Pizza only to find that every route home from there was closed so it took twice as long to get back home. Got home, got The Computer to homeschool science at the University near us, headed home to teach two lessons, pick up The Computer and get him home for guitar lessons. Exhausted, I tell you!
Thursday, we opted for a relaxed jammie day which include a fun time with M & M Math. We used a book from the library that worked with multiplication and division. The favorite part for everyone? Eating those yummy dark chocolate M & Ms!
Looking forward to a (hopefully) relaxing weekend.

Your wednesday sounds exhausting. I would have given out halfway through. But those jammie days that follow are always so much fun. Have a restful weekend.
